About Apex Event Network
APEX Event Network (APEX) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade association launched to elevate accomplished event professionals by providing meaningful pathways to impactful later stage careers, peer-to-peer connections and mentoring, cutting edge education and training, and comprehensive resources.
APEX brings together industry veterans with deep expertise and knowledge across event sectors and in all roles. The organization is led by a board of respected and seasoned industry leaders that are passionate about helping peers to thrive in a continuously evolving industry.
Our members lead, plan and / or execute events or exhibit experiences, including trade shows, meetings, conferences, fairs, incentive trips, consumer events, and all other types of events and meetings, as well as the hospitality, media, and services industry that supports events. They come from these organizations:
- For profit trade show organizers
- Associations
- Corporations
- Societies and religious organizations
- Publishers and media
- Hospitality industry – hotels, resorts
- Venues – convention centers, conference centers, meeting space
- Service providers
- Technology firms
- Destination management companies
- Travel agencies
- All other organizations that produce or service events

APEX’s mission is to create pathways for continued professional growth, collaboration, contribution, and leadership. While many industries struggle with how to retain institutional knowledge and leadership experience, APEX is focused on reframing it as a competitive advantage — not a liability. APEX is committed to ensuring extensive knowledge and experience remains a valued asset in the modern workforce by amplifying the value of our members to the event industry.
With other industry associations focused on young professionals and emerging leaders, APEX fills a gap to help seasoned event professionals that want to keep contributing, mentoring, and working — connect with companies and organizations that need their expertise and knowledge.
Early members have an opportunity to help shape the direction and future benefits of APEX. There will also be opportunities to volunteer for committees to contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
